Hello!
Hey! I'm Miguel Viero, born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1979 and based in Barcelona, Spain, since 2011. I'm a movement artist, educator, teacher and independent researcher in the areas of the movement arts and human development. I'm also the co-creator of the Nomadic Roots project.
I'm thrilled to be your partner in this exciting exploration of movement. My journey in the world of the movement arts and expression has been a dynamic one, shaped by a passion for fostering individual growth and self-discovery.
At the heart of my approach lies the Nomadic Roots methodology, a unique blend of practices that transcends traditional movement boundaries. This philosophy is a holistic celebration of the body's wisdom and its ability to communicate, adapt, and express.
My own movement journey has been a tapestry woven with threads of fitness, eastern martial arts, play, dance, and Fighting Monkey. These practices, inspired by the rich diversity of movement backgrounds, have not only enriched my personal journey but have become the pillars of the Nomadic Roots philosophy.
I believe in a movement practice that harmonizes with your life, embracing creativity, adaptability, and the joy of exploration. My goal is to empower you to move authentically, integrating movement into your daily life as a source of joy, expression, and self-discovery.
Whether you're seeking personalized guidance, the camaraderie of group classes, or the palpable energy of open workshops, I'm here to support you. Both in-person and online, these encounters are crafted to meet you where you are in your movement journey.
Let's embark on this journey together, where movement becomes a language, and your body, the storyteller.
